Emergency Markers Rapidmap

When you are traveling on the many Alpine regions across Victoria always check before you head off on your journey whether the open space has:

  1. Emergency Markers signs.
  2. Any visible streets signs or landmarks you will be passing for a point of reference.
  3. What kind of terrain you will be traveling on.

Alpine Regions are famous for hikers during summer months and skiing in winter.
However lately they have noticed a huge increase in both mountain biking and motorbiking.

That means more potential injuries with more adrenaline sports being done now all year round.

The biggest issue within resorts in Alpine regions is describing of locations quickly and efficiently to Triple Zero (000) call takers and often Emergency Markers have been overlooked within the Village itself.

Join us as we interview Taylor Woods at Mt Baw Baw Resort as she explains why it is so important to have Emergency Markers in your environment and places you need to consider locating them that they realised in hindsight.

Safety is the goal whether you are on foot, bike, motorbike or skiing in this beautiful alpine region.
