Importance of Regular Audits
📢 DOES YOUR SIGNS EXIST WHERE THEY SHOULD BE?
Understanding the reason for frequent audits is to make sure you check whether your signs:
✅ Are still at the CORRECT location matching GPS co-ordinates?
✅ Are DAMAGED?
✅ Are LEGIBLE or covered in stickers or graffiti?
✅ Are BIG enough to be seen from a distance, especially from waterway access?
✅ Are VISIBLE amongst new signage erected or are they lost amongst a bunch of signs?
✅ Are they even still there???
As you can see from this video when an audit was done at this location and found out the Emergency Marker sign was missing. The marker is active in the Mapping portal and in the Triple Zero (000) CAD system. However, there was no sign.
It is vital that signs, co-ordinates and ESTA all match so they can help in SAVING TIME SAVING LIVES
